Ooser Hunt Co. started as a small company with a vision, and we're pursuing that vision in hopes that others will connect with and enjoy what we have to offer.
Based in Dallas, Georgia, we're everyday working people who spend every opportunity we can chasing our passion in the outdoors. Hunting isn't just a hobby for us—it's a way of life.
The name "Ooser" comes from a term commonly used in the duck hunting community. An "Ooser" is an out-of-state hunter who is traveling to hunt in a place they don't call home. Over the years, the term has become more common as duck hunting areas have become increasingly crowded. Hunters from popular hunting destinations often use it to describe outsiders coming into their state. Ironically, many of those same hunters travel to other states themselves to chase turkeys, ducks, deer, and other game.
Instead of viewing the term as a negative stereotype, we chose to embrace it and turn it into something bigger. That's where our brand, identity, and logo were born.
Our logo is inspired by the bird's-eye view of a duck hole—the view a duck sees as it approaches a landing spot in the timber. From experience, we know some of the best memories are made in those openings deep in the woods where ducks drop into range. Every duck hole is different. Some are big, some are small, and no single spot works every day. That's part of what makes hunting so rewarding—the challenge, the unpredictability, and the pursuit.
